Duty log, record no. 6,000. Humanity is still… surviving. Six thousand years ago, we lost our planet. Despite all attempts to stop it, an asteroid struck the Earth. Two continents went under water. Billions died. We are the descendants of those who managed to escape in orbit. Four thousand years were needed for people to set foot on Earth again. Another two thousand years we gnawed Our Earth free from the ancient defense mechanisms that declared the new humanity enemies. The losses were painful.
