Probationary Period

The third part of the “Zone of Personal Security” series is devoted to the everyday life of police officers. At the center of the plot is a detective story that reveals the intricacies of operational work and the difficulties faced by law enforcement staff. A newcomer to the police internal security department, Roman Fokin, is on probation. His first assignment becomes a dilemma: the man who saved his life is suspected of a crime. It depends on Fokin whether this case will be solved—and whether he will remain among the fighters against crime in uniform.
