He is well over 60. His name is Domitius. Many hate him. Because he is “a seeker of truth,” an inquisitor, an executioner.

He serves the Order and opposes Technograd.

The world where Domitius lives is a world that—80 years ago—survived the End of the World, or the “Stinking Week,” splitting people into lucky ones who survived in Technograd and losers left on the roadside.

But 80 years is a long time. Over that period, the settlements of the last “civilized people” went through their own decline and regression, and the Order—which managed to unite part of the “losers’” settlements—rose to power.

Both Technograd and the Order had to travel the path needed to understand that one of the two is superfluous.

And Domitius? Domitius may very well be the stone that tips the balance toward one side.
