Humanity has entered an online game that distorts reality. Alien races forced this game on the people of Earth—races that, in their development, outstrip humans by several orders of magnitude. The outcome for our faction—Human 3—determines the future of the planet. In the early books of the cycle, the main character, known by the handle Komar, having been drawn into the game from among student gamers, achieves stunning success thanks to unconventional thinking and tactics. At first, his amateur initiative gets him reprimanded by the faction leadership, but the further it goes, the clearer it becomes: Komar is the main hope for people’s survival. The hero progresses so much that soon he becomes the leader of his own faction and the owner of a starship with a loyal crew.
In the eighth book, we’re in for a continuation of Komar’s adventures. The hero intends to join forces with Georg, but Georg has other plans. As with the gekkho, who are also going to involve Komar in their own game. The author is bridging more and more to his other literary projects; it seems that in the plot of the Litrpg saga “Reality Distorters,” many familiar characters will play an important role.
