A post-apocalyptic world. People live inside a huge artificial bunker of shelter—generation after generation. Going up, into the outside, is deadly. The “volunteers” who go out from time to time to clean—meaning to wipe the lenses of outdoor surveillance cameras—die after a short while. Life in the shelter is strictly regulated. A caste system. If you’re a carrier, nobody else has the right to move cargo from one level to another. If you work at the generator supplying energy to all levels, you can’t do anything else. And especially the IT sector—the sacred of the system, the main supplier of information about the outside world. The trouble is, nobody knows how truthful the information provided by the IT sector really is, and the IT staff doesn’t allow outsiders into their holdings…
