Game Instead of War: The Punishing Hand

“Punishing Hand” is a science-fiction novel, the second book in the “A Game Instead of War” cycle, genre: battle fantasy, LitRPG. During the Third World—allegedly still raging across the expanses of the Ыngoria virtual world—I was forced to seek political asylum from the ideological opponents, signing a strange contract, the aim of which was to gain power. Further instructions were meant to be delivered by a courier, but our meeting never happened. I was left to my own devices: I formed a clan, an alliance, seized a castle with the help of my coalition forces, and built up economic might. Then, among the first, I learned that long stays in the virtual world lead to the digitization of “players.” For me, salvation is already out of the question, but there is a chance to help the millions trapped inside. And so the “Punishing Hand” alliance steps onto the path of war.
