He Who Goes to Jerusalem

He Who Goes to Jerusalem

1 hr. 59 min.
Description
When Christ spoke to the apostles about the need to go to Jerusalem, He meant the path of voluntary suffering that must be endured in order to ascend to Heaven and open the way there to people. The story’s hero rises to his own personal Jerusalem, to fulfill the words of Reverend Seraphim Vyritsky: “to take forty people with him into paradise.” He resembles a collector of treasures who was lucky enough to find a trove of such inexhaustible wealth that it will be enough for all the people on the planet. He leads the poor to the treasures and offers: “Take it and use it! There’s enough for everyone. Take it!”
