This novel about a time traveler stranded in a harsh world at the border of the Stone and Bronze Ages shatters genre stereotypes. Here, a hero from the future faces a situation where his modern knowledge and skills turn out to be useless. The inhabitants of a primitive tribe who take him in give him a derogatory nickname that can be translated as “IDiot.” He is doomed to a miserable existence in a low status until a more advanced enemy horde attacks his tribe, using bronze weapons and mastering horseback riding. In the chaos, the hero gets a chance to prove himself. He tries to pass himself off as a shaman and uses his knowledge of military history to win in a prehistoric war. Will he manage to seize the “wonder weapon” — a Magic Sword made of meteorite iron — and how will he overcome dangers to defeat his enemies and rid himself of the shameful nickname?
