The fatal streak of bad luck in Dasha Vasilyeva's family began after a weekend they all spent at their acquaintances the Vereshchagins' horse farm. There was also another respectable couple there — Lena and Misha Kayurov, owners of two horses. True, six months earlier, when Dasha met the Kayurovs, they had been simply penniless.
