The Plaster Trumpeter, or The End of the Film

The plot of the book “Gypsum Trumpeter, or The End of the Film” unfolds, as always, around love and the homeland: the author of popular women’s novels and the scandalously famous director go out of town to write a film script. They tell each other many funny and sad stories, recall their favorite women and random acquaintances. But their carefree lives are suddenly interrupted by events connected with a big game, where the stake is ownership of land in a historical preserve.
