In the mid-sixties, Commander Che Guevara puts his theory of creating a guerrilla stronghold to the test in practice. The heart of Latin America—Bolivia, the Altiplano plateau, guerrilla warfare in both its rural and urban forms. Quechua and Aymara indigenous peoples, miners from tin mines, soldiers and rangers, American instructors, former Nazis, communists, and every kind of leftist—and one ethnography student.
And the world is on the brink of upheaval in 1968. ¡Hasta la victoria siempre!
Author’s notes: I decided to recall the hobbies of my youth, and it turned into a fantasy about Latin America. A fantasy—because if I wrote everything strictly according to official facts, it would come out as a monograph, not an adventure story :)
