The sight of a silver dot in the sky that suddenly became a gigantic roaring jetliner with engines blazing used to mesmerize him. But the planes weren’t to blame for the death that came from the sea. An invisible but lethal genetic storm swept Russia’s Black Sea coast and rolled on around the world. In a matter of hours, Earth turned into a post-apocalyptic hell.
