Russia, the 18th century. By a twist of fate, three students of the navigation school—Alexander Belov, Alyosha Korsak, and Nikita Olenev—are drawn into matters of state importance. In 1988–1992, the films about the гардемарини were made by Svetlana Druzhinina and met with overwhelming success, and the “Russian musketeers” Dmitry Kharatyans, Sergey Zhigunov, and Vladimir Shevelkov won the audience’s universal love.
