Andrei Serov is a circus performer in civilian life, a special forces soldier in the army, and after the army a private detective. One of his investigations leads him not just anywhere, but to the 18th century. After long wanderings, he rises from an ordinary sailor to captain on the pirate brig Raven. His name now is Marquis André de Serra.
