Konstantin Zaytsev and Aleksey Tikhiy are a tandem of Russian science-fiction writers of the new wave. However, after the first two books, the co-authors’ opinions about the hero’s further fate diverged, and each writer began developing the plot their own way. At the same time, Fera understands more and more clearly that Baron Samedi is gradually losing interest in him, and what that will lead to for the hero isn’t entirely clear. Meanwhile, the underground people enter the game, wanting to influence the new world order. And what it will be depends on many things—including Fera.
