Hedgehog in the Fog

Hedgehog in the Fog

1 hr. 28 min.
Description
One of Sergei Kozlov’s most beloved works from childhood, performed by the actors of the Perm TYA (Theatre for Young Spectators). Thirty little mosquitoes ran out into a clearing and began playing their squeaky fiddles. From behind the clouds, the moon emerged and, smiling, drifted across the sky. “Mmm-u!..” sighed the cow by the river. A dog barked, and forty moon rabbits ran along the path. Fog rose over the river, and the sad white horse seemed to sink into it up to its chest—now it looked as though a large white duck were swimming in the fog, snorting, and lowering its head into it. A hedgehog sat on a hillock under a pine and watched the valley lit by moonlight, flooded with mist.
It was so beautiful that from time to time he shuddered: isn’t all this a dream?
And the little mosquitoes didn’t get tired of playing their fiddles; the moon rabbits danced, and the dog howled.
“Tell it—won’t believe!” the hedgehog thought, and began watching even more carefully, to remember every bit of beauty to the very last blade of grass.
