Everything is predetermined, and you can’t rewind it. And who are we to fight a cosmic-scale element? All we can do is hide in a crack, stay out of sight, and wait until the danger passes. But when the whole world sinks into the abyss of chaos, they will be watching from a cozy, safe place. And as soon as it’s all over, and only a miserable handful of survivors remains on Earth, these people will build their own new order of things. But not all desires are destined to come true—certainly not these. No matter that to do it, they’ll have to create their own empire and gather under their banners the remnants of a feral humanity.
