In 2022, Victor Ginzburg’s fantasy film “Empire V,” shot based on Victor Pelevin’s novel of the same name, will hit the screens. Pavel Tabakov will play the main role in the film. He is the son of Oleg Tabakov; as a young theater and film actor, he’s become known to audiences for his roles in the drama “Star” and the historical TV series “Catherine. Rise.” Immersed in the atmosphere of theater since childhood, Pavel nonetheless never thought he would build an acting career. And yet, at twelve, he debuted on stage at the Moscow Art Theatre named after A.P. Chekhov. Pavel Tabakov will be the voice for the audiobook version of Victor Pelevin’s novel “Empire V.” The book tells of a dark world ruled by powerful vampires. They raise people for themselves as livestock destined for slaughter. An ordinary guy, Roma, ends up in this elite and closed society. Now he, too, is a vampire, and he has to learn to live in this new role. But will he manage to cope with the knowledge he’s received and carve out a place under the sun among strong and experienced competitors?
