Dreamers. Exiles of Zennon

Serra is a world where any stone under your feet has magic. A world where every resident has the gift of stone-seeing. Everyone, except sixteen-year-old Vira Lind. She is the daughter of a famous stone-seer who saved Zennon from the Terrible Shadows that came from the north—shadows that swallow people. But Vira herself cannot awaken a stone, or even feel it. To hide her shameful secret, her uncle decides to marry her off. On the day of her wedding, her classmate burns the Book of Law. For this offense, Kinnu faces exile. Vira tries to help the boy, but it’s useless: both she and Kinnu are exiled from Zennon. That is effectively a death sentence—when darkness comes, the Shadows come out of hiding. Vira and Kinnu need to find shelter—it will save them from being killed. But will it help Vira escape from herself, and Kinnu reach his goal, for which he committed his crime?

“Dreamers. Exiles of Zennon” is the first part of a trilogy and at the same time the debut of the young writer Alina Bryus. Trained as a linguist, Alina decided to devote her life to literature and created an extraordinary world of Serra.
