The Little House by the Cemetery

No one among the kids had a life like Andzej’s. Sometimes he had to sort white slippers for hours, and sometimes he had to fight to the death against hordes of real vampires storming his house. And for Andzej, there was nothing surprising about it—after all, he lived right next to the cemetery, right where the “White Slippers” store operated, selling funeral goods. The shop also sold protections against all kinds of evil spirits— which Andzej’s father made using the formulas of his chemical-chemist grandfather.

But lately there had been far too many of these creatures. Now road goblins were attacking lonely travelers, now some unknown Terror settled in the basement, and the owners would go mad with fear… And not long ago, vampires appeared in the city again— but strange ones: none of the known protection methods worked on them…
