In the distant corporate future, every space expedition must obtain from the Company authorization, supplies, and special security androids. But in real economics, safety isn’t the top priority.
On a far planet, a team of scientists is conducting research while being guarded by a thinking android from the Company. After he “hacked” his control module, he gained freedom and started calling himself Killerbot. Humans don’t interest him at all—what he truly wants is to watch, in solitude, the downloaded media library containing 35,000 hours of movies and series. However, both the mission and the planet turn out to be far more dangerous than the Company’s briefing. And Killerbot will have to figure out what’s happening and how he is connected to it.
“System Failure” and “Artificial Condition” are Killerbot’s first and second logs.
