The name of this man is sacred to every Russian. All of Russia remembers his feat. When the prince Dmitry, at the age of nine, became Prince of Moscow, many believed that Rus’ had come to an end because of the yoke of the Horde, internal conflicts, and epidemics. However, the fate of the country changed in 1380 on the Kulikovo Field, where Prince Dmitry Ivanovich fought as an ordinary warrior without protection.
