The Saboteur

In the book “The Transmigrated,” opening the “Lost Soul” cycle, the main character Ivan Boev ends up not at the right time and not in the right place. He dies; his body is dead, and his soul is summoned to a parallel world with the help of a magical soul stone. Now Ivan is a prisoner of the stone. The Count’s team, nicknamed Bloody Walrus, uses his soul to inhabit other people’s bodies in order to carry out all kinds of sabotage and spy missions.

“Saboteur” is the second book in this cycle. Here Ivan appears as a nineteen-year-old young man, the son of a baron. Despite his youth, he possesses many insights, and he manages to boost the economy of his region, build defensive walls, and teach the peasants to fight so well that for the first time they are able to repel the next raid by steppe raiders. But in the empire a rebellion breaks out, and the hero ends up in forced service for the rebel duke. He decides to turn his weapon against the insurgents… Will the lost soul be able to save the empire? And what must Ivan do to reunite with his beloved Lara?

In this alien world, he will play only by his own rules—in the role of a saboteur, unfamiliar to him…
