All he had left was a name—and a still-burning desire to kill the mage who turned him into a creature: fast, lethal, and utterly devoted to its master. Of course, devotion didn’t quite work out… but does it matter? That’s why Mikhа didn’t. He simply waited for a convenient moment to cut the mage’s throat and get away from the accursed city.
