The Ninth

The doctor was utterly frank and, in fact, passed a death sentence on Danil. And what should you do when medicine admits its helplessness? Burn the remaining months in a haze of alcohol and drugs, take your own life, or accept a stranger’s offer to try to break into a parallel world and survive there in a new body? None of Danil’s predecessors were lucky—none survived more than an hour in the new world. Danil is the ninth attempt. Will this one be more successful than the previous ones?
