The Gift of Fire

In one magical world, people had the greatest treasure—the Heart of Magic. The Heart gave each person a gift: someone could make astonishing clothes, someone healed by laying on hands, someone could summon rain. And everyone lived happily until one greedy and evil king decided to take all the power of the Heart for himself. He wanted to become immortal—and the Heart fulfilled the wish. But it gave away all its power and went out. In one night, all gifts disappeared. The king wanted to make another wish, but at the last moment a great hero stole the Heart. The king refused to leave everything as it was: he sent a pursuer in search of the Heart—a destroyer, a man who turned everything—living and non-living—into ash with a mere touch. At the cost of his life, the hero defeated the destroyer and hid the Heart at the edge of the world. Legends say that one day the immortal king’s envoy—and a new hero—will meet… And then the Heart will return. Or it will be destroyed forever.

Three hundred years have passed since then.

People have lost faith in the Heart and live on the remnants of former luxury.

And in the north, in the forest, lives a boy who can burn everything with a single touch… What will happen if he becomes the new hero?
