Our Galaxy. Our Planet. Our Days.
A RAS artifact kept in dusty storage facilities, found by builders back in the 1980s, was awakened thanks to the efforts of a young researcher from the Research Institute of Atmospheric Electricity.
After passing through the Portal, the young scientist discovers that the galaxy has long been inhabited—and, moreover, divided among the powerful who by no means want to benefit Earth with knowledge and technology. Rather, the goal is to use Earthlings in their own intrigues—this is what different forces the group of researchers, stepping beyond the threshold, will have to confront.
Researching alien worlds—both inhabited and turned into ruins—encounters with different races and intelligences, plus much more, including combat clashes in space and on the surfaces of various planets—all of this is in the first book of the series “Beyond the Veil of Lightning.”
