For many years, the people of the Zubr lineage lived fairly peacefully and calmly, holding extensive lands. Naturally, there were raids by neighboring tribes—and even by non-human outsiders— and sometimes they even had to fight mighty monsters. But the clan remained strong and resilient. Yet trouble finally came to them: because of a drought, the harvest almost perished; the rivers shrank. And from some faraway unknown lands came a new enemy— a tribe of dwarfs who subdued and mounted giant birds, diatrim. The people failed to defeat their opponent, and had to leave for new lands. But even there they would not have peace if the young warrior Tasha, his beloved Unika, and the one-armed (?) wizard Romar did not manage to find out what caused all these misfortunes.
