After the end of World War II, nurse Claire Randall travels with her husband to Scotland—to restore their former love after a long separation and at the same time find information about her husband’s relatives. Accidentally touching a stone circle where local women had performed a strange pagan ritual the day before, Claire falls into the past—to the bloody year 1743 for Scotland. Saved from a shameful fate by the Scotsman Jamie Fraser, she begins to be torn between loyalty to the husband left behind in 1945 and passionate love for her protector.
From the performer: Hello! My name is Natalya Ostrovskaya. I myself am an audiobook lover. In the distant past I used to be an amateur reader and even dreamed of becoming an actress. But in the end I became a doctor. Still, I always loved reading aloud. Many years passed. My daughter and son-in-law introduced me to torrents.
