Police commissioner Peter Winston arrives at a picturesque corner of Sweden to rest by the sea. The vacation doesn’t stay cloudless for long— in a luxurious, unfinished villa on the shore they find the body of the famous realtor, Jesse Anderson. Winston should help the local colleagues figure everything out, but his temporary partner doesn’t tolerate city slickers, and the police chief prefers to treat the incident as an accident.
Only at first the case seems simple—soon it turns out that Jesse Anderson managed to offend almost everyone in this paradise-like area, and the killer may be hiding behind every garden hedge.
