The fourth audio book in the “Black Blades” series slightly deviates from the established rhythm: the war never stops for a minute, but now the main players will be the intelligence services of the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany—their confrontation forms the basis of the plot.

Yielding to the scientists’ promises, Kotov agrees to take part in another experiment, but due to insurmountable circumstances everything goes not as planned. Now he is transported into the war years in his own body. His main task is to find a way to get back to his time.

Kotov lands in the hardest period: September 1941, which will be the most disastrous for the Soviet army. Having found himself in occupied territory, he begins to create pockets of resistance. At the same time, he solves the problems of supplying weapons and food for the soldiers. Like the previous audio books in the series, this one ends at the very most interesting point—how this journey will turn out can be learned only in the next part of the series.
