In a Hundred Years

The events of the book take place in a far future, where most of humanity, as a result of an epidemic, has stopped being human. A changed metabolism allows them to live indefinitely long, but at the same time it takes away the ability to feel anything at all. The characters, teenagers, trying to experience at least a trace of emotion, attempt to imitate the behavior of lovers from old books. With grotesque seriousness they train courtship, performing incredibly ridiculous actions. Becoming a real person turns out to be the most important thing for them.
