Across the Sands

In the second book of the post-apocalyptic cycle, we follow two families living on opposite sides of a desert dune. They found refuge in Colorado’s wilderness, where dunes constantly shift, or in a small town built on sand. The main characters, Palmer and his sister Lillie, work as drivers and are hired to search for ancient bunkers with nuclear warheads. They have no idea that their finds could endanger not only their own existence, but the future of the world around them.
