Makar Molotov is a scoundrel who ended up holding power in his hands. I crossed him—and I can ruin his reputation before the election for mayor’s chief. Now I’m his captive for a month, and then…

“Let me go!”
I tried in vain to hide my fear. Molotov loosened his tie in a careless motion and, pulling it free, threw it over his jacket.
Threat could be seen in every move.
“A month until the election, Kira—and you won’t leave here until I win. What happens after depends entirely on you,” he fell silent meaningfully.
“You have no right to keep me here! It’s illegal! It’s kidnapping!”
“Law here is me, you little brat,” he narrowed his eyes.
“Let me go, please…”
It came out pathetic and quiet—along with tears and pleading.
Molotov smirked.
“You have to answer for what you do, Kira. Remember that.”
