The familiar world collapsed in an instant. And what is a lonely person to do in an abandoned city? Some unknown contagion hangs in the air, and there is no knowing whether you will open your eyes the next morning or not.
There are no friends, wild dogs roam the streets, and so do those who only yesterday were prosperous residents of a thriving city. Now most of the survivors are drifters, each on their own. They hold nothing sacred. A human life means no more to them than a can of food.
There is only one salvation — to flee the city. But how can one cross the guarded perimeter if the troops have orders to open fire on every living thing?
A loner begins searching for a way out of the city, which has been divided among warring factions. His task is not simply to escape, but to leave hell still a normal human being.
