This novel is a bold experiment conceived and carried out on a truly galactic scale. Its authors—Nick Perumov, one of the acknowledged leaders of Russian science fiction, and the prominent American writer Allan Cole—joined forces and created their own “Armageddon”: a slightly ironic, mildly parodic science-fiction action thriller saturated with space adventures, detective investigations, and powerful magic. There is also love in it—helping good triumph over evil. This novel is substantially different from the books by Nick Perumov that we all have grown so used to and love so much. It doesn’t resemble Allan Cole’s “Sten” and “Atero” either, which were successful both in the USA and in Russia.
