The Apothecary

Behind Vladimir Orlov is more than one decade of writing. Following the traditions of Hoffmann, Gogol, and Bulgakov, he has his own unique voice and holds the status of a classic of contemporary literature.

Although all events and characters in V. Orlov’s novels are fictional, that doesn’t mean the story told in “The Apothecary” couldn’t have happened in our multi-variant reality after all. This is a novel about love, about a person’s relationship with nature—full of riddles and secrets—and with one’s own existence within it.
