A Moscow law student from the present day swaps bodies with an identical student from 1982 who was assigned to work with the internal affairs authorities. Not just got pulled in—it got him right up to the neck in it. There’s zero information about the predecessor. He has to somehow survive and adapt—don’t stand out, don’t let the people around him suspect he’s changed completely. Find his place in “developed socialism.” And also solve a terrible crime involving the killing of four people.
