Dan Lebel is a pseudonym of a fantasy writer who works in the popular genre LitRPG. We present, in audio format, the first audiobook from the author’s cycle “Sphere Chronicles.” Arthur wasn’t lucky: he returns from military service without a leg, and he doesn’t have money for a full prosthetic. The only thing he can afford is to acquire doses of nanites. Friends help Arthur get a job as a game tester in a virtual reality world, where testers also inject nanites. It turns out that a conflict between microscopic nanomachines gives the player complete compatibility with the virtual world—and that, in turn, opens many doors for him. However, Arthur wants to run his own game, not be used for the corporation’s interests. And the game itself has a surprise for him, adding peculiar changes to his character class.
