The Hungering

Alex and Aeneia returned to the “Crystal Sphere,” where the world is ruled by the Hungry Ones—hybrid beings formed on the basis of high-level NPCs. The hunt for neuroprograms puts users under constant deadly risk—now no one is insured against death. Surviving in the glitching virtual world is becoming harder and harder. An army of the Hungry Ones is closing in on the Agrión cluster. The only and last stronghold is the castle of Rion, but their forces are unequal.
