Gargoyle Academy: The Dragon's Partner

Teachers often told me that prison is what I’m headed for, so when I woke up after a party to celebrate the end of college—right in an alley next to three bloodied corpses—I was afraid they’d accuse me of murder. An uncle in the family I grew up in decided to hide me… in another world, under the supervision of the Director of the Academy of Gargoyles. This is the strangest educational institution I’ve ever seen: at eleven at night, a bell rings here, and woe to anyone who remains in the street after its strikes; at night, some people wander the corridors; and right beyond the walls begins the Dead Forest, entry to which is forbidden—just like the closed part of the castle. Which means I absolutely have to go everywhere! After all, there are so many secrets all around that practically ask to be uncovered. And in such a matter, you can’t do without a reliable partner—so it’s good that I have one lined up. The first book of the duology.
