In Korea, a real conveyor-belt system has been created for “producing” future stars: any potential star must first pass a strict audition, and then complete an internship at an agency as a trainee. The internship can last for an unlimited amount of time, and there’s absolutely no guarantee it will end in a debut—and a new star will be lit up on the Korean stage anyway. That forces trainees to “work their way” to the seventh sweat and even more.
