Warsaw at the beginning of the 20th century.

An enclave populated by demons from dark legends appeared in the city. It is surrounded by a wall made of silver bars. The houses there acquired unusual properties, and the streets change directions. Similar formations have appeared in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Only royal patrols and licensed alchemists may enter, searching for ingredients for experimental potions.

The Polish alchemist Olaf Rudnicki, together with an officer of the elite royal guard, steps into the path of deadly danger. And at the same time, war is approaching.

Magical duels, experimental medicines, and the mounting tension at the point where the otherworld is breaking through lead to an ending no one expected.
