First-year student Katya Krasnova dreams of becoming a folklorist. But her attitude to fairy tales and legends is special. She doesn’t just see them as valuable historical and ethnographic material—she believes that myths sometimes tell another world indirectly, and sometimes plainly, a world our ancestors encountered regularly, yet we have learned not to see. Wanting to test her hypothesis in practice, Katya begins to study phenomena commonly referred to as the supernatural.
