A hundred years remain before Ancient Rus’, yet it is already beginning. And it begins precisely here—in the Ladoga principality—where Ulf Sviti, the White Wolf, an outsider from the future born in the twentieth century, returns after more than three years of wandering and battles. He fought in France and in England alongside the legendary Ragnar Lothbrok and his sons. He won and lost, he lost things and then brought them back again. He has a new nickname and old friends ready to die for him the same way he would die for them.
