Shortly before his death, the lord of darkness Kvodnon inscribed the name of his successor on a piece of parchment and sealed it with his seal. But when, after Kvodnon's death, this testament was sought, it turned out to have vanished. By the will of fate β for nothing in the spirit world is accidental β this parchment, together with Ulita's eidolon, fell into the hands of Methodius and Daphne. Ulita's eidolon is unique: it is the only one that combines both light and darkness. The parchment and the eidolon are being sought by Spurius, a former intimate of Kvodnon. He dreams of taking Ligul's place and becoming the lord of Darkness. It is terrifying to imagine what will happen if Spurius, having unravelled the secret of Ulita's eidolon, manages to instil darkness into all the eidolons entering the world.
