The adventures continue of the former physics teacher, Ivan Yakovlevich Brekht, who ended up in the body of a young man from a small village near Omsk. In 1932. In the second book, Brekht—with the help of Commander-in-Chief Bliukher—becomes commander of a separate reconnaissance battalion stationed near the town of Spassk-Dalny, not far from Vladivostok. The Japanese and the Chinese regularly stage provocations on the border. And on top of that, Brekht is now being watched closely by NKVD officials, who are interested in his entrepreneurial activities.
And Brekht also marries a Korean princess, Lee Hae Won, and tries to reach Korean entrepreneurs with her help.
