An amateur audio play based on Sergei Lukyanenko’s novel “Night Watch”.
“Night Watch” is a novel by the Russian fantasy writer Sergei Lukyanenko, the first in a series of works about the fictional world of the Others.
The story takes place in modern Moscow (at the time of writing). In addition to the familiar human world, there is also the world of the Others—who include magicians, sorcerers, werewolves, vampires, witches, warlocks, and other beings that originated from humans, but do not consider themselves one of them. The Others are divided into Light and Dark. Good is no longer in active confrontation with Evil; it is in dynamic balance with it. To maintain the balance between Light and Darkness, any light magical influence must be counterbalanced by darkness. Specially created organizations of the Others keep watch over compliance with this order—Watches. The interests of the Light are represented by the Night Watch, and the interests of the Dark by the Day Watch.
