Life for the protagonist, Han, is, to put it mildly, not great. His parents died when he was a child, leaving him and his younger sister in the care of their grandmother. Plus, growing debt and ever-persistent loan sharks. Han wants his sister Ha Yan (his younger sister) to have a different future—so she can get into a good university, and so their grandmother can finally be treated in a hospital. That’s why, from an early age, he worked relentlessly, and as a result he changed jobs many times. And the only consolation in his life was the computer game “Earth of Magic.” Having pushed the character to the limit, he sold it for an unimaginable sum and paid off his debt (3 million) proportionally to what he got. Now, again left with nothing, Han decides to start playing a fairly well-known immersion game—Royal Road. Of course, his only goal was to earn some extra money. But fate had its own plans for him.
