From the Depths

The Colonial Union… is gone. Thirty years ago the Blackout struck, turning a complex system of human worlds into islands separated by endless chasms of distance. But the worlds themselves have not become fewer—they are still in the thousands, and on each one there is something mysterious left behind by the races that vanished—the Precursors. Terra-Nova colony was no exception—a watery world that once survived an ecological catastrophe. Still, it couldn’t brag of special secrets—out of all mysteries, only the whispering whales were of any interest.

And of course it had to happen that those very whales became the root cause of Ante Svensson’s troubles—a graduate exchange student from New Oymaйko. However, he himself had plenty of “skeletons in the closet,” and his character isn’t free of vices either—just curiosity alone is enough! And the devil knew to pull him into a scientific… adventure. Otherwise you can’t call it.

Then, as usual, everything spun into motion: alka g est, sea creatures, kidnapping, fights… And only the seasoned Courier—formerly a renowned Armorer—knows that this is merely background. Because the main thing is the decisions we make at one stage of life or another. Or not we?..
